Lugansk region is located in the east of Ukraine, on the northern and eastern part of the Lugansk region the state border between Ukraine and Russian Federation lies. According to the statistic data in 2015 the population of Lugansk region was more than 2 million and 200 thousand people. Lugansk region rich in coal deposits, phosphates, there are explored deposits of natural gas. One of the most important sectors of the Lugansk region economy is coal mining, mechanical engineering and chemical industries are also important part of regional economy. The natural depths of Lugansk region is rich in highly mineral waters which are used for medicinal purposes. The territory of Lugansk region is very important because of the pipelines, road and railways located on it, this infrastructure is a vital part or trade ways between the regions of eastern Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
